Blocked from the public with a chain link fence, an historic building in Denison, TX continues to succumb to mother nature following work done while removing a loading dock area on the left, railroad track side of the building two years prior to me photographing here in Spring of 2012.

Separate court cases are preventing anything form being done to the building and it is unclear if the building can be saved at this point. With each passing storm however, Mother Nature causes a little bit more damage and another brick to fall. Soon this landmark may be gone forever.

Photographed with my Canon 5DII and 17-40mm lens. A three photo HDR I processed in Photomatix Pro. I also used Topaz Adjust and Color Efex 4 software, as well as a few manual tweaks in Photoshop.

This old covered wagon was originally photographed in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2011. The photos sat on my hard drive for over a year, until I processed and enhanced them in the spring of 2012.

It is a 7-exposure HDR image that was processed in Nik's HDR Efex Pro software as well as in Silver Efex Pro and VIveza2.

The clouds were quite amazing for this sunset photo and add a unique depth and quality to the photo.

This old jeep pickup truck was found behind an old convenience store in North Texas.

I was all set up with camera on tripod when I noticed a cat start exploring the truck. I watched as it started walking around the back and fired off 3 quick exposures with the cat in this position.

The cat couldn't have been in a better position for me with this composition, and I really liked its pose. A nice little enhancement to what I felt was already a strong image.

This photo of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona features a separate photo texture blended in. The photo texture is from some dried out mud I found in Southern Utah. Combining the two photos gives a truly unique and stunning presentation.

While this was photographed in Zion National Park in 2009, it stayed in my RAW archives until late 2011 when inspiration struck and I ended up processing this image. l used Lightroom to process the RAW file. I then used onOne's Perfect Photo Suite 6 as well as Nik's Viveza 2 software to perfect the image.

Originally photographed back in 2006, I blended in a separate photograph of dried out mud that I found in Southern Utah in 2010.

The result is an incredibly unique view of Monument Valley with a real old time, old west feel to it.
