Using the Snappseed app on my iPad 3 I was able to bring out all of the tiny details in this detail-rich photo. It was photographed in December of 2011.

Alien Home

]]>While driving through Santa Fe, New Mexico I thought I saw an alien at the door of a home, so of course I had to turn around and investigate.

Well it certainly was an alien, holding what looks like a bottle of beer. Above him/her/it appears to be an alien octopus riding a spaceship.

I love the flying saucers above the windows. Priceless.

]]>This red door and brick wall was photographed in December of 2011 near the Tucson Barrio district.

It was photographed with my Canon 5DII camera and mostly processed using the Snappseed app as well as PhotoToaster and ColorBlast! HD apps on my iPad 3.

Using the ColorBlast! HD app, the entire image was converted to black and white, and then I "painted" in the original color of the door and framing. Rather than leave the rest of the image black and white, I dialed back in some subtle color around the door. Using PhotoToaster app I added a blurred vignette, followed by a darker vignette.

]]>The Old Galisteo Cemetery in New Mexico is seen in this photo from the summer of 2012.

It was photographed on a clear and sunny day with bright blue skies with my Canon G10 camera during the middle of the day. The light was so bad I only took one photograph of the cemetery. After processing the RAW file in Photoshop, I transferred the image to my iPad and used the Snapseed App to create the look you see in this final version.
