Nik Software has just released HDR Efex Pro 2 - a must-have upgrade to what was already an excellent piece of HDR software.
"Maroon Bells with Summer Flowers" - Colorado
This was processed with a beta version of HEP2 and shows how good it is at natural HDR images.
I had the opportunity to play around with HEP2 since its early beta days. It is both faster and much improved at creating naturalistic HDR images. Also vastly improved are ghost reduction and image alignment, and the new tone-mapping engine makes natural images much easier and better than before.
My summer travels has prevented me from preparing any pre-release material but I will soon be sharing photos processed with the new software as well as tips and tricks. We will also be teaching it at my upcoming Santa Fe 2012 Photo Workshop.
You can download a fully functioning trial at Nik Softwares' website.
Have you been using HEP2 yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this new software in the comment section below.
