I have been traveling to the San Diego area for art festivals for the last 4 years and 2010 was the first time I traveled the few remaining miles tot he west coast to photograph in the La Jolla area.

"Scripps Pier" - California

This photo of Scripps Pier, in La Jolla, was a time exposure photographed just after sunset. It was photographed just before the last remaining color left the sky. The warm color on the water came from the lights on the pier.

I was up to my waist in the ocean water with my tripod legs stuck deep in the sand through the water during an outgoing tide to photograph this scene.
